Parking my car I step out into the lot. Around me it's muggy, the clouds are dark still, probably going to rain halfway through the day. Right in front of me a mother is carrying two sacks of food next to a child asking why couldn't they get a kids meal. The second I open the Fast food door, a wave of heat hits my face. Good to get out of the cold.
I get in the short line of people and decide what to order. they're still serving breakfast. Guess I'll get some pancakes with a egg biscuit. Some guy standing in front of me is coughing uncontrollably. He smells of smoke.
